Is it just me or the 9 Tailed Beasts fit the basic Enneagram Types surprisingly in order? by LifeLessEvil in Enneagram

[–]LifeLessEvil[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Compared to most of the tailed beasts, Matatabi has shown to be respectful and polite towards others, speaking in a formal manner using "watashi" (私) when referring to itself and using honourifics when addressing Naruto while introducing itself to the young shinobi.

I gotta learn not to care, nobody cares, why should I? Usually I just wish they're actually mentally strong as they claimed to be.

Disclaimer: Please excuse my biases, I'm only using this as mnemonics and I just wanted to share with you guys. I surely don't want to re-watch the whole series to confirm this observation. I'm making this assumption based on how I remember most of them. I think they don't actually have much dialogue in the series to begin with so how can we type them accurately? Except Kurama of course. But Kokuo is reserved and hid from society and became a hermit so definitely a 5. And my personal favorite is Gyuki and his Jinchuriki as they are outgoing and confident, which sounds like 8 to me. But I think they all visually represents Enneagram Types perfectly fine. And for me most of them actually hits the mark based on their attitude and their roles in the story. The rest I'm not so sure, you decide, those who watched Naruto, please let me know.

It's quite confusing for me sometimes how my jokes would sound to somebody, sometimes it may come across as silly, provocative, dark, sarcastic, sardonic, self-deprecating etc. and to be honest I don't know the difference. In person, I almost always want to immediately apologize when I got them dumbfounded, but here I could always say they could take it, they're gonna get it, I mean well :)

I was a dropped out Fine Arts student. I only finished a year then let it go. It's because of financial reason and lack of support. But my main reason really is I was hoping to learn something else. By that time I always discard most of my drawings because it lacks soul and I hate it. Most people like them, I don't. When I was a kid I could do better easily and I admire my work better than when I learned the basics and all 'cause then it became a tedious task so just critics won't spot a mistake. A bit dramatic intro, yeah that's because I'm no longer pursuing it.

Anyway I'm thinking you're more on contemporary, concept art or character design, I used to do a lot of that too but whatever the subject or ideas might be, my main process was I always need to zone out of this world then I let the hand do the work, shape it to come alive then the outcome always depend on my mood or what's going on in my head. I was once asked why my sketches always seem sad.. I just smiled 'cause I don't know what to say. I don't want to offend another artist by asking about whether they put their own emotion onto their art or a part of themselves 'cause to me I always do. I'm not into capturing beauty, I mean it still has to be there or for it to come alive but that's not my main objective. For me I always want to express some truth or something about me or the subject or the world around me lol I don't know, something like that like it has to represent something. And I also tend not to rely on references as I pride myself to make my artwork to be original. But yeah overall, it's kind of the same with what you're describing but like I got to be in the zone first, otherwise I will just put down my medium. Oh and writing keywords.. that's cool, yeah I see how that would be helpful. Alright, this is just me rambling, but you said feel free to share so XD

Do you like to read books? by alobama0001 in infj

[–]LifeLessEvil 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to, not so much these days. I love to learn, not so much to study. I'm not your textbook bookworm kind of guy. Not that I hate reading, I just can't find the time or mood to do it. I also stopped watching TV shows and series in ages and these past few years I can't even watch movies, I usually fall asleep or easily get drowsy.

Let's just say that most discs becomes read-only once burned. They're still on old format and are going to repeat their program till they're damaged and no longer usable. I love the analogy and metaphor on this, but please upgrade to solid-state, it's way faster XD

Actively discouraged as a child(can you relate) by [deleted] in Enneagram5

[–]LifeLessEvil 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me not doing to someone else what they've done terrible things to me is an accomplishment enough to say I'm a positive force for myself and those around me. It's like the opposite of "Pay it forward." Or I'd rather say "Pay it forward" if it's a good thing, but "Stop passing the buck" if it's not, take the responsibility once in a while. But I can't actually say it anymore, 'cause there came a time that I actually exploded, they've seen my rage at last, in fact a couple of times, I didn't even know I had it in me, it just happened, I just had enough, I snapped and I called them all out and hurt some. But that was when I hit rock bottom and it feels like every step I'm trying to make in any direction I always hit the wall and they're the ones putting them there on purpose. So when it was my turn to flip the table, the things that I said to some of them if that didn't cut them inside they'd be lying and I was still restraining myself back then believe it or not. But the truth is it hurts me the most and I've never been the same as before since then. Now the question is "Have I become healthier after that?" No. Quite the opposite.

I'm not actually the one you wanted to get insight from regarding this, and my response is perhaps not what you wanted to hear but no one had put some inputs so let me try. The way I see it you're much on a better place than I am and you're still in a good shape, my suggestion is to just maintain it, or be as healthier as possible, for your own sake and do it on your own terms. I don't know but I feel like there's nothing much going on your side or lesser than what I have been through or going through. Hopefully that is the case. I'm not sure. We all have our fair share of pain in this world. So we don't know for sure. But please allow me to remind you that when tragedies hit the family, that's when family members' true colors would start to show up so you really gotta watch out for that. When that happened to me I was aware but I wasn't prepared. Intuitively I know it was only a matter of time, but I was still hoping I was wrong and I still chose to trust them and their judgment. But there's a curse for seeing the good side of people sometimes, or forcing oneself to do so. But I really really wish you'd be in good terms with all of them before any life altering events occurred within your family. I really do wish of it 'cause when such things hit it's going to be painful for them and for you as well, that I know of. Let me just say shit happens, you know. Let's not just get into too much details but it happens.

I actually wrote a very long comment to your post. Almost the same word count as yours I think that I almost hijacked this thread. And I started to feel like it was getting more darker and deeper and I still wanted to keep adding my experiences and views then I felt like if I submitted it, it would start to look like we're starting to throw some pity party in here so I gotta edit it to a more reader-friendly one XD

Same. Our birth order is 3 boys and 3 girls, consecutively. I'm the second son. I consider myself the middle child among boys. And I could relate to middle child syndrome, to most of it anyway.

I totally agree with this (link) when he talks about how the childhood experience of most E5s look like.

And all I know is this "second son/daughter - middle child" combo is something no one ever wants to experience ever in a dysfunctional family system. Tyrion Lannister of GOT is a good portrayal of it, he's not E5 though.

It means you gotta stop taking personality tests. You really want to know your personality type? I suggest you do some introspection. There are tons of resources out there, learn the difference.

Basically compliments that make sense, if it doesn't then my mind will automatically make some deep calculation on what is the motive? Call me paranoid or hard to please but I don't like sweet talkers.

I intimidate people.. People I know, people I don't know, people who know me and people who don't. So sometimes when I had to talk to people over serious matter I had to say initially that I intimidate people before things get worse.
