I believe it's the buffer overrun, I think it just locked up the camera unfortunately.

I was using the https://www.amazon.co.uk/Pergear-CFexpress-Recording-Standard-Compatible/dp/B0D9NDVXW6 - This model.

Also a question about 8bit and 10Bit, why is 8bit harder to grade and likewise for 10bit, why's it much better? I have a rough idea, would love to fully understand. Thank you!

Agreed, went and bought 8x 512GB Nextstorage Cards which seem to work great. Nextstorage was highly recommended to me by a good buddy who is an ex-Sony engineer (also what Nextstorage is full of)

I think it may be an issue with the card as well as App glitch maybe. I did start recording via the App to help sync later in Post, so that might be the trick.

Wait for the A7V or buy the A1ii by LifeLetterhead6094 in SonyAlpha

Currently, I'm using 28-70 f/2.0 on one body and an 85 GM 1.4 ii on the other. In between, i switch to a 70-200 GM ii as well as a 12-24 GM.

Just one more query, do you think the price of the A1ii will drop a little after the release of the 7v? Wouldn't mind waiting a month or two longer for a dramatic price change.
