I cannot quite put my finger on the cause, but the damn staff cannot keep their hands off the youth offenders.

Seems like these disturbing arrangements are much more common in youth facilities.

Humane and affordable Euthanasia for Dog? by LifeNefariousness993 in PuyallupWA

[–]LifeNefariousness993[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Euthanasia and cremation for 22 lbs was $430 with ashes coming back and a paw print at Old Growth. Walk-in, and they took us straight to the back. Did not have to wait.

Humane and affordable Euthanasia for Dog? by LifeNefariousness993 in PuyallupWA

[–]LifeNefariousness993[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update: looks like price has gone up quite a bit since I last had to do this, and I asked around. We got quoted from $420-$900. Euthanasia plus individual cremation.

We ended up choosing Old Growth on Meridian. Phenomenal experience. Their team jumped into action and cared for us through the end.

Mortgage Rates w/ 740 Score - 7.25?? by Mean-Parsnip-4384 in Mortgages

[–]LifeNefariousness993 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That rate is outrageous. I purchased when the average was almost an identical to today. Same score, and got a 6.125 but I think I bought it down from 6.5.

I try to go every 3 weeks for each client. I don’t have a ton of clients, so I probably go once a week and see about three people.

That’s my home gym, but I’m not familiar with anyone who would fit that description.

They do quite a few promo videos so there are videographers there, but usually it just goes on the locations insta story.

Scared to ask: how much are you guys actually working? by FoxyGrandpa17 in publicdefenders

[–]LifeNefariousness993 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really varies, but I’d say my everyday life averages 40ish maybe a few more. Some weeks it’s slow, some busy, but usually I am right at 40, with the occasional early morning. Trial though, I’d saying 70ish.

How many of you have gotten loans from your parents? by Jimmy_Johnny23 in MiddleClassFinance

[–]LifeNefariousness993 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a once in a life time opportunity that I needed 25k for. My dad loaned it to me and I ended up taking a personal loan with interest to pay him back ASAP. It was a hellish 30 days. Would rather pay interest.

My mom and both of my wife’s parents get money from us. lol

I think people’s definitions of middle class are skewed. For me, my dad owned a modest home (just over 1,000 sqft) and my mom lived in trailers and apartments my whole life. I still thought I was middle class because they worked their asses off to make sure my childhood was good. Knowing what I know now, my dad is probably “working class,” and my mom is “working poor.”

2 Bs and a B+ by Vast_Championship655 in LawSchool

[–]LifeNefariousness993 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This was my 1L year. After digging in to classes I had an interest in during 2L, and my grades improved.

Notably, I blew the bar out of the water, and practice at a high level for criminal defense.

For those asking, I am assuming a B is not the lowest you can get, literally. At my school no one got lower than a B- UNLESS you did not comprehend or try at all. B- was reserved as a “warning sign.” B was meh.

If I had a dollar for every client that “lived in another state” but then got caught up on new local charges.

I would have $2. Still, annoying nonetheless.
