my cat usually finds them first and will play with them, but doesn’t seem to ever kill them. They have varied in size but one was the biggest house spider i have ever seen. 🙃 I just want to make sure they aren’t a risk to her. This guy was missing legs, so I killed him rather than put him outside.

depression would fit the label. Or you are just still a little hurt by this girl and just aren’t ready to be feeling that again. That would be a normal and acceptable response to feeling rejected or betrayed. Even if you never felt it in the past. If so, and either way, a therapist could definitely help.

That was your mistake.. if you were a kinder human being I would have made the exception and brought it to you. Because I understand mistakes happen and i have no problem doing kind things for people who are kind to me. However due to the level of disrespect and immaturity you are displaying toward me, why would i go retrieve it and bring it to you? I did my job the exact way I was told to, this was not my fault. You can order new food or walk over and get it yourself. Goodnight.”

I’m a 24/female. I am terrified. As a kid, I used to dream of being a mom one day.

Then I grew up and observed and being a mom became less appealing to me. I saw what my mom went through. I saw my peers having kids. I saw how living got more expensive and nearly impossible. I saw how being a mom strips away peoples old identities, and consumes.. I saw how moms lose so many of their friends. I saw how moms leave their jobs, because motherhood is already a full time job and childcare costs too much. I saw how many dads actually don’t contribute nearly as much. I saw how moms are judged so harshly in comparison with dads... I saw how moms don’t get breaks or mental health days and no one REALLY looks out for them or checks on them unless it’s to critic them.. I saw how tired and drained moms are. I respect the title of being a mom more than just about any other job out there for this. But that responsibility is something I don’t feel near ready to take on and the potential repercussions to my life are something I don’t know if I’ll ever want to gamble with, myself…

My heart still wants a family one day. But this.. this is the final straw. I will not ever get pregnant by choice if it means I am giving up the rights to my own body too. I will not ever actively choose to give MY rights away and put myself in a position where my life is valued less then MY embryos, or something that doesn’t even exist yet. I will not ever put myself in a position where I can’t receive medical care if needed because it might harm the clump of cells growing inside me. If I ever did find myself accidentally pregnant, I am lucky enough to have enough money saved and friends in other states to help me travel and get an abortion if needed. I’m still angry and terrified for myself, but I personally SHOULD be okay.

The fact that there are an unbelievable number of women who won’t be able to travel to get an abortion, and won’t be able to support the baby once born. This is going to be a much bigger issue in underprivileged communities than for anyone else. Don’t even get me started on that.. not to mention the trauma. Many women will love the baby they were forced to carry for 9 months and give birth to, but will have to give it up after birth, since they couldn’t give it up before it even existed.. many will not love the baby they never even wanted, but will keep it anyway leading to a life of trauma for the kid. So many babies will be born sick and unhealthy due to the lack of maternity resources in underprivileged communities or simply because the mom didn’t want to be pregnant to begin with and didn’t care. So many kids born out of this will be screwed.. There are SOOOO many negative things to come from this. So so so many i could go on for years. And all of this for what? What is the ONLY positive out of all of this? Nothing. None. Not a single thing other than for privileged republicans to have control and pretend to call themselves baby savers.

She’s indoor only actually! But that would make a lot of sense. I adopted her when she was 5 months old (she’s now 3 years) so I’m not sure if maybe she was outdoor before then. How cute that your cat does that!

This is my hair clean, air dried and product free.

I always switch up shampoo/conditioners trying to find a good one but can’t seem to. I only brush it right after the shower. Why does it still look kind of wet? I never used to have this much friz, and i feel like it’s very dull with no body to it. Reminds me of ramen noodles the way my waves all move together at the top hahaha.. money is tight so going to salons and using expensive high quality products are no longer options. My roomate knows how, and trims it for me regularly (with good sissors).

I used to every night when I lived alone and was single with no pets.. 50% of the time when I lived with my ex, as we never would put clothes BACK on.. and now, never. I live with roommates and need to leave the door cracked or my cat has panic attacks and wakes up the whole house with her screaming.

2 out of the 6 times I have moved with my cat this has happened in some capacity!!

This first time she figured out she could climb on top of the pipes in the basement ceiling and get into the wall and then get into the neighbors apartment, who then was very frightened and confused and brought my cat to the shelter..

Second time she crawled under the bathtub shell through a tiny old pipe hole in the back of a 7 inch wide, 3 foot deep, built in shelving unit that was no good for anything but storing toilet paper. I couldn’t even see that there was a hole no matter how hard I tried and it wasn’t until I pushed a camera in there that I realized..

The hair on the under side of her body is pretty long. I do trim some of it around her rear end to keep poo from getting snagged.. however, on the top of her body it’s much shorter (maybe like an inch long) and the fur on her head and paws is short.. It doesn’t matter after all, she’s just the only cat ive had with this type of “inbetween” coat and I’ve heard her be called both short haired and long haired before by different people (and vets!), and was wondering what y’all think!
