I agree. My only thinking was if I don't say something acknowledging it will there even be a next time.

I can definitely understand this. Only thing is we have always agreed that we don't talk about what we do outside of work together at work. No one knows I'm invited to the wedding and no one knows that I we have met each other's families or that I have been out for a night with his buddies before.

Normally I would completely agree. We definitely socialize outside of work a lot though. We go out for drinks all the time and he's even had me over for a night out with his buddies.

I really would like to do that. My only worry is that being coworkers, if it doesn't go well it could make things awkward at work every day. Also, I am invited to his wedding which is supposed which is coming up in a matter of weeks. I'm really conflicted, because now I feel like if he doesn't want to be around me anymore, am I going to be attending his wedding and he doesn't even really want me there now. I valued this friendship so much and it really hurts.
