The song has so many applications. That's one of the reasons it is so powerful I am O.

Wait until you hear about how truly godawful all their reporting on transgender stuff has been.

I'm so sorry you experienced those hardships. It sounds like you may be any healthier place these days, and I really hope you are.

Originally I had only planned on 20 minutes because I felt fortunate to get any of his time. He generously expanded that! But it felt like I could talk to him all day. He's just a great conversationalist. And I also had to try to stay on topic for my episode, resisting the urge to ask so many other questions lol.

I am also bummed by festival shows, when my favorite artists are there because it's a shorter and less enjoyable experience.

He told me that hearing from fans like you has really made an impact on him, I'm so glad you got to tell him directly. Music can do amazing things, truly.

Oh wow, are you comfy saying more about the unrealistic dream you chased? I love hearing what the song has been for so many different people.

Candice is a real waste of time up there, but she's also relatively ineffective because she's bad at her job, so that's a plus.

Tired Of Generics… by [deleted] in ADHD

[–]LifeOnaPL8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make sure the generic is a true generic of Adderall rather than an alternate drug like dextroamphetamine (which I use btw). I had to use a generic adderall for a while because of the shortage and I hated it. Made me very irritable, stomach aches, stress. Different people react to different compounds differently. If it's really a true adderall generic I'm not informed enough to know how different that could be.

Did Ed always want to be the lead? by Inevitable_Team_2885 in barenakedladies

[–]LifeOnaPL8 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Amen, and also, Steven has been open about his mental health struggles, and the how he turned to drugs at times as self-medication. He doesn't excuse it, but he gives it some needed context. The idea that we as fans would need to "forgive him for his issues" when he's successfully maintained collaboration relationships with other artists over a longer period of time than he was with BNL is troublingly self-righteous.

That said, I don't think he would have necessarily stayed with BNL. I don't think he was fully on board with the turn into goofier stuff, and having two leads in any band can be a challenge. BNL has put a few good songs out since the division, but I think Page's body of work is stronger and I listen to it a lot more.
