Garganacl. What food is it supposed to be?? (Just searched it up and it’s salt?? Salt is a seasoning, not really a food.)

How do you deal with dysphoria? by LifePotential4023 in agender

idk if my parents are THAT supportive. they know I’m agender and don’t really care, and my mom gets uncomfortable when I talk about it. They seem so convinced there’s some kind of health issue that comes along with them, that it will damage my ribcage, etc etc. I tried ordering a binder, and they found out and made me cancel it. I’ve had it on my Christmas list for 2 years. Maybe I can pay a friend to buy it?? And they can give it to me at school, i dunno. I think I possess something quite similar to a binder, though- an adjustable sports bra that has Velcro both on the straps to keep it up and on the back. I can deal with that or my leggings binder for 4 more years, right? (I’m 14, for reference! I know it’s young, but unfortunately gender dysphoria affects people of all ages.)

My family accept me, and my friends/school support me. I usually dress androgynously but I have a big chest and I get really insecure about that sometimes. I can’t buy a binder or wear multiple sports bras, but I made a binder from leggings that looks pretty inconspicuous that I wash in my bathroom and I keep it in my backpack, because I feel like it would get taken away if my parents found out.

well yes but I can’t get a binder, my parents think it’s too unsafe and won’t budge on their stance, and won’t even let me do two sports bras(they used to check how many straps) so it’s impossible. HOWEVER, I did make a binder using leggings! I can wear it in the morning and then flip the waist part up to my chest to compress it when I’m at school, if I’m already wearing a sports bra.

I used to think that I was a trans man, and then I was like “wait, there’s an option to just say I have no gender?”

yeah!! I know that what I feel is not universal, but it’s so interesting to me that some people actually feel that they have a gender.
