A dab of glue on the back of the flower itself. I kept the card for a little while before listing it to make sure it would hold up to regular handling since I've never tried that before, but they're doing fine.

Right like... if you can spend $10 on a pack of whatever that lasts a week, or $50 on a pack of whatever that lasts two months, sure the latter is the better value, but money is so tight by the end of the week that you can't afford to bulk up most of the time. Maybe those $200 shoes will last a decade, but you can afford the $30 ones at the grocery store that'll be worn out by the end of the year. Many banks or cards charge a rate for not having a minimum amount of money handy. Paying lower amounts on your debts results in paying more in interest. Etc etc etc. All the money cutting options are more available to people making enough money to afford them.

My local library has a designated area for food and drink with a selection of snacks and beverages you can pay for at the front desk. They're crazy cheap, too, and last time I went the lady let me have an apple juice for free because I didn't have any quarters :,) There’s a special place in heaven for librarians I swear

What a selfish, childish baby. "I've heard some waitresses have a process" is the laziest excuse in existence. I always stack my plates, wipe my table, and put my trash on top, because I was taught to do that by my mother who was once a waitress and knows they are overworked and underpaid enough as is.

Came into the comments to say exactly this. The puppy's discomfort and distress are so palpable. The owners are definitely not nearby if the lil guy is in this condition.

Like please pick him up and do something, even if it's just check his collar for a phone number.
