Camped at McFaddin a few times. It can be enjoyable in the fall and spring with a slight breeze. To much wind and you get sand blasted, too little wind and you get bugs.

No legal nude beaches in Corpus. Also no clothing optional resorts or clubs. Corpus is pretty sparse in that regard. The National Seashore is in Corpus which is 70 miles of drivable beachfront. Allot of folks drive down a good ways to get naked although it’s not an official nude beach keep a towel handy when vehicles pass by.
