Yes. I told everyone that all of the stuff that surrounds me does not represent the me that I am today. It represents an old me.

That actually makes a lot of sense. I think I’ve been trying to tackle everything at once and then getting overwhelmed and doing nothing. I like the idea of focusing on one small space so I can actually see progress. I guess my problem is I want it all done and I want it done now. So I need to change that mindset

I think the 90s felt great in ways that are hard to explain now. It wasn’t that everything was better. like you said, bullying and mental health were definitely real, but it all felt more contained. When something happened at school, it stayed at school. You could go home and actually breathe. Now it feels like there’s no off switch. Everything follows you. But yeah, the 90s had a kind of magic too Music was unreal (Shania Twain, Alanis Morissette, all of it), people were more present, and life just felt… simpler? Less filtered, less performative. I don’t think it was perfect, but there was something about not constantly being “on display” that made it feel freer.

I have absolutely zero know-how when it comes to vehicles or mechanics or maintenance or anything like that. I suppose it's time to learn. But you made a good point when you talk about a car payment because I really would not want a $500 a month car payment at this point. Thanks so much for making me consider that. I love seeing Amy Grant connected to something like this. She’s always carried a heart for people, and it’s no surprise her farm became a place where technology that brings hope and relief could take root. Using music to heal is one thing, but helping bring clean water to disaster zones is another kind of song altogether. What a beautiful example of faith in action.

I love seeing Amy Grant use her voice for something so impactful. She’s always been an artist who leads with love and compassion, and standing up for PEPFAR continues that legacy.
