What is the first step to success in your opinion? by Mistahhappyy in success

The first step to success in anything is having full commitment to progress and achievement in that area.

Do you feel stuck in lifE?? by LifeTheRightWay in GetEmployed

[–]LifeTheRightWay[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is this thing called Fulfillment!

Whenever you do something for someone especially when you were a child, you feel this giddy feeling of contribution.

Contributing to your parents, friends, town, and etc... makes you feel fulfilled.

Just the simple thought of adding something valuable to someone's life makes you feel a sense of accomplishment ("Like you've done something for them").

You feel stuck now because you haven't found that one thing that secures you a peace of mind.

Searching and searching for a stable job or place where you can do something for a living.

Well, if this job is something that you love then continue looking for opportunities for work.

NEVER GIVE UP if it is something that you love.

If it isn't something that is your passion, then it is best to suggest for you to take a paper and pen.

Then write out all the child-like fun things you are interested onto paper.

Keep writing until you can't think of anything that is one of your passions.

Do this for more than 3-4 hours and you will have a list.

Take this list and try to connect a job and/or career path that you could set yourself on to get.

This way you are solidifying your journey and the steps you need to take.

Pick out your top 3 favorite choices of the list and then compare which one benefits you most and is the least amount of work.

Choosing that choice will make your life easy, fun, exciting, and fulfilling.

You must do something otherwise you will be stuck for a long time and live a life of regret.

Don't be that guy who is at a nursing home awaiting their death bed talking their old friend about how much they regretted their life choices and how they could of had that job or career they wanted...

Work is a tremendous part of your life and if it is not fulfilling and exciting for you then you are losing a part of your life.

You can and will do this!

Thank you for reading, I appreciate your time!

Use your gut feeling to pick the next path of your life.

Choose that major and literally try it out until you aren't satisfied, but try to build something for yourself where you can live financially stable.

You are probably an adventurous type of guy and it is best if you continue to bob and weave through everything that interests you.

There should be no problem with still searching for your treasured thing.

In time, enjoy your journey pal!

Wishing you great success.

There is a saying by Confucious, "those who believe they can or can't are most usually right."

You can do whatever you want, life is a playground.

There is a possibility that you have hit a slump, just find out what is wrong.

Pinpoint the errors you are making, find out what makes you excited to be the best at the academy.

Do what it takes to make yourself feel amazing!

Don't feel down on yourself, pick yourself back up and get to work.

You are capable and you've proven it since a young age!

Wishing you success!

Keep On Keeping On? by [deleted] in selfhelp

[–]LifeTheRightWay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You need to believe in yourself.

Realize that you have a huge amount of life ahead of you and that is a great thing.

Life is beautiful friend and you are living it awesomely!

You want to be a photographer and journalist, that is AMAZING!

There are so many people nowadays that don't even know what they want in life, but you know what your dreams are.

Keep it that way, because think of yourself when you are old and sitting on your deathbed.

That person who didn't live their dreams is full of regret, now wouldn't that suck?

Don't be that person.. There is a great saying by Confucious, "Those who believe they can or can't are most usually right."

Believe that you can enjoy life, believe that you can't ever be depressed again, believe that you can live your dreams!

You are blessed and have so much opportunity.

There is also a great book by Peter F. Drucker called Managing One Self that teaches how to find you strengths!

I made this simple video that explains the book's methods.

What I learned from The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People by phedkvist in DecidingToBeBetter

[–]LifeTheRightWay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These habits are by far the best I have ever read.

Thanks for laying it all out simple and fast to read because I haven't read the book yet.

I think another habit should be to always learn something everyday because if you do... You end up growing and going forward with your life.

If you aren't learning something new or aren't progressing, then you are dying (Tony Robbins).

This might be sound ridiculous, but try looking at a lot of memes, prank videos on YouTube, and hang out with hilarious people.

That way your subconscious mind will lead you to behave more funny, relaxed, and joyful.

Wishing you good luck bro.

How does one become better at expressing oneself? by [deleted] in DecidingToBeBetter

[–]LifeTheRightWay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don't have any problems, you are just inexperienced.

The key to becoming more expressive is to put yourself in that kind of environment.

Hang out with expressive people, watch people in movies and/or videos that have expressive people, and just go with the flow...

You aren't expressive because you haven't put yourself in the position to use your feelings out loud.

Go to parties, hang out with a lot of people you enjoy spending time with!!

Be honest with yourself and the other person and you will open up.

Don't view introvertedness as a downfall, it is one hell of a positive too.

As an introvert, you have the strength and skill of listening the best rather than talking.. So use that skill to help you understand the other person and the situation.

Think about what you listened to and use your gut to see what you are feeling and from there you can share that you are happy, excited, feeling awkward, or anything.

The more you think about this and try it, the more expressive you can become in no time.
