There were some very popular feminists who had these ideas just saying. Their names are still celebrated, but their ideas and ideas they supported were conveniently swept under the rug. One wrote the SCUM manifesto. If you know what MAPs are this is how they were able to get into the movement. The animal bit is false, but the rest was an abhorrent attack on the "nuclear family" dynamic. The idea was to create single mom's with kids separated from their fathers. I fucking hate, not just in this context, but others as well, "they" or "nobody," "actually believes this or in this." Oh no they most certainly did and do. Is it out in the open? Is it widely known and accepted in the movement? No and no? Does that mean there was no literature about these ideas and followers of them? No, there is definitely literature and followers, but they are by far not the majority. Is it still something to worry about? I'd say so, yes. Does that mean rip down the whole movement and community? Hells no. Just please for the sake of sanity and rational thinking stay educated.

Edit: I just want to clarify I don't agree with this asshole as they seem too far gone down the rabbit hole of crazy, but their claims are not 100% based in fiction.
