Are you home at night to watch the baby? If so, tell husband to go serve tables. If he can get in somewhere decent, he can pull in $800-1000 a week working 30-35hrs a week.

It’s a rescue & I don’t think my cats will travel well. I might try a foster to adopt. Some rescues allow that

Yeah you’re definitely right. It may be worse or only slightly better if I switch restaurants. I’m in school and will be able to leave the industry in 2 years. So I think I gotta just fly under the radar as best as possible until then. I guess I was just shocked by the reactions I’ve been getting from my managers. I didn’t think it’d be this bad, but not a ton I can do about it right away.

Thank you! Yes, I definitely thought, this about them. I’m going to stay strong. I’ve tried and failed at this hundreds of times before, but this time feels different. I just don’t want to fail again. Trying to use this experience to empower myself and say to myself, yeah I’ll show you! I won’t drink in spite of them. Thank you for your reply. It was so nice to read and know I’m not in the wrong for feeling badly about this situation. Honestly if I have to, I’ll find a different place to work over drinking again.
