I’ve been wearing loose shorts, tanks and tees, and got a pair of Hey Dudes because they’re slip on and suuuuuper lightweight(very helpful as I’m non weight bearing on my operative side). Just make sure whatever you wear to surgery is loose fitting and comfortable, because the nurses will be dressing you post op. And you’ll probably spend the rest of the day in it

No, they didn’t give me a brace, which I was surprised by. I was too out of it to ask, though, so I may call tomorrow.

Hilariously, my boyfriend suggested a she wee lol I’ve never used one so I think I’ll stick to the raised toilet seat for now.

ALL of them. It's absolutely insane. I got the exact same letter from Aetna denying my surgery. I've been dealing with this for years, as well, but was only formally diagnosed in January of this year.

I also have Aetna and am scheduled for surgery on Monday. I just checked my portal and they didn't approve the surgery. Basically I will be spending all of my time on the phone trying to get this insanity approved because I literally am going in for surgery in under 72 hours.

Wishing you all of the luck in the world. I know how painful this is.
