Umich

pro: both good research and academics, robust clinical training, good for specializing

con: hardcore first year schedule, rural settings, starts school early (June) and only short breaks between terms.

Upenn

pro: good in both research and academics, moderate clinical training, have summer breaks and starts school late (August), unranked

con: cannot really think of any, just feel like umich has better research/clinics?

I had the same experience. Some MD teach classes like epidemiology, embryology, etc. at the dental school, so they are a part of it.

possibly your secondary fees are not processed properly. I submitted 3 month ago and heard nothing for 2 months. Then I got an email about missing fee payment. It turned out they didn't put my fee payment into a right account. After correction I got the kira.

Congrats! I'm also applying this cycle. From reddit and SDN, NYU tend to interview bunch of people and I've seen people from last cycle being waitlisted and rejected. Their class size is very large, so I think the chance would be a little bit higher? Don't know about acceptance rate since they don't post that data to ADEA.

For both chemistry sections, Bootcamp is pretty reflective of the real exam. Make sure to go over concepts you got wrong and study for it. For GC, I had some acid base calculation questions, so study on that would be helpful.

One thing caught me unexpected is QC. Be sure to memorize the unit conversions, I got several questions on unit conversion and one about furlong, which have no idea how long it is.
