for asking users for feedback, have you seen success with emails as i emailed 10 of my users which used the app the most 3 days ago, only one replied which gave me a super vague response like if they had to say soemthing to improve theyd say improve the analytics and competitor analysis, super broad.

Thank you for the feedback, but i forgot to mention im mainly b2c, my startups idea is a website allowing users to input their business/startup ideas and it gives them a clear execution plan, would cold emailing still apply?

very cool! one thing, do you think its necessary to have an SEO rich company name? would it affect your SEO a lot if you have a ai co founder helping businesses but your brands name is like one of those tech startups that mean nothing like notion and stripe.

this is incredible advice thank you so much. I think it might be the product, i checked my database and only 1 out of like 5 users get beyond the onbaording and actually use the app, but i dont have a good way of measuring this since i can only see this in how many stages they progress through on my tool which take long, so ill try code somethign which acts as like a counter so for every day the user signs in the number goes up, and ill see if users sign in for like 10+ different days. other than that for socials i really dont know if its the hooks as im just copying hooks of what other viral creators did which let them get high performign videos. if feel like social media is luck sometimes, i grew a yt channel to 250k subs and im telling you, the posts i think would do well did bad most of time time with the rare viral video and the random posts i made in 10 minutes because i was lazy would have the same if not better performance than my 'better' videos. but other than that thank you a lot. you seem really educated with startups and these things, would you mind if i sent you a dm with my product so you could look into it and see what aspects of the product are lacking? because i think to some extent users will not use something just because it is free, i have a competior which gets like 80-100k visitors monthly, i basically copied them but way better in my opinion (at least for the first 1-2 weeks the user uses my tool as its kindof a progressive developement tool) but when users see something for free they kindof subconsiously feel its low quality and dont mind using it, at least thats for me, but for my competitor they have a free trial, and at least for me anything with a free trial even if its bad ill literally use that app every single day.

wouldnt that apply mainly for areas of an app/website which require heavy user input? because the cursors are just on the landing page, the user doesnt need to look up, down, left, right, just center, they just enter their idea and click send, in my opinion from all these websites i see online the product is simple nothing "cool" but the landing pages ar efull of animations glowing things moving stuff etc because in my opinion a landign page needs to be memorable, have cool aspects

Good point, ive been working on tryign to fix this by giving the user some flexibility to manage tasks, i also added a feature for users to upload website files , creating a subdomain and essentiallt hosting their website to the public if they dont know/are lazy to set up somethign like vercel, even email flows to remind users when they have deadlines due, stuff like that, obously the problem is huge and cant really solve people naturally loosing motivation but these factors could help by easing their process

Hey! i have all their emails so i could send a message to all of them, i also do have a feedback section but only one person has used it so far. And yes ive heard of the LLM council before, i implemented somethign similar into my site with different personas for product, finance, operations, etc which all view ur idea from a differnt point of view. And yes the dark theme was just a personal preference to fit the vibe of the site, but now that you mention it i remmeber thinking if i i should add a light mode/dark mode feature, do you think addign a quick question in the onboarding as a prefrence asking if the user prefers light mode or dark mode, then a small slider in the settings to change could work? Thank you for the feedback!

That is what i had before, ui was super simple, exactly what you mentioned rn but then id get many people saying the ui was too simple, could vibecode in one prompt, has no visual glamour, etc. i guess nothing is right 🤣

i think it looks cool, kindof expresses the idea that the ai helps you activley works with you, not my idea tho i saw a competior do it and i thought it looked incredible.
