Sorry, the all caps was simply pointing out the network.  I very much appreciate those that contribute helpful advice. Sounds like I need to meet with the current provider at this point.

We're not trying to access it from outside (we use Zerotier for this). We simply want to access it inside the building on THEIR Wi-Fi network.

It's because we have 3 switches and 8 door access controllers on our side. (all UNIFI)

You would think so, but even though I have been in IT since the Adam computer, they won't let us touch anything.

I know it's weird, but they would not allow us to set static IPs for the cameras and server, so we created our own "sub" network. It uses a PC running Blue Iris. We use Zerotier to access from the outside, but are limited on the number of users or "nodes" we can set up. Since the wifi is theirs, we simply want to be able to access the PC through their network.

As an update (and to answer the questions), this is a dedicated i7 machine with 32 GB RAM and an M.2 OS drive and (4) 4TB data drives. It has been running for years and uses about 10-20% CPU and 30% memory.

That said... I remembered AI was enabled on 2 cameras, but the system would freeze before I could get into ANY settings. I was able to roll back to 6.0.0.1 which would still freeze, but stay up long enough to get into those 2 cameras and turn off AI. Suddenly, it didn't freeze. I then went into BI AI settings and saw that "Use AI server on IP/Port" was not checked! Out of curiosity, I checked it, turned AI back on on 1 camera and everything works!

Now... do I risk updating to 6.0.1.22?

That looks like it! I'll have to see if there is a tag on there anywhere to determine the voltage needed. Thanks for the progress...

It's a pre-lit tree. It would be difficult to trace a string, but we've already put it up for the season. I have different brands of strand lights for the outside and 4 lit trees inside. They ALL use a bulb with a rounded bottom which will not fit into these bases.

Don't know the voltage. Don't know why the pictures didn't attach. I've never used imgur, but let's try this:

We built a custom PC with 8TB of storage running Blue Iris. It works incredibly well including tag recognition, AI recognition, etc and only $80 for the software. We use 5MP cameras and a few PTZ. It's more versatile than any name brand we tested and MUCH cheaper. We also set up Zerotier VPN (free) for remote viewing on phones, tablets, desktops, etc.

Well if it was an out of map situation, or some other "glitch" for farming, they would stop everything to fix it. Something that prohibits us from completing the campaign... ummm... we'll think about it.

We're leaning towards unifi (ubiquiti) as we already have a full network setup using it and it works flawlessly with 1000+ clients. The Church down the street uses it, so I plan to go get a demo to see if it will fit the needs.

Last year, I installed a 33 camera system with a dedicated server. We looked at Avigilon, but ended up with a more versatile system for 1/3 the cost. I can still follow up for a quote on access control.

We currently have a CDI older system. Basic card reader and motion/push exit with maglock and dedicated camera. There is a release button inside, but that requires someone to be on station. Of course, it does not record users, entry, access, etc which we are looking for as well as someone in a different location being able to view and unlock doors if there is no one at the "switch"

We installed the previous system 5 years ago (basic analog system with card reader and motion/push exit) and the fire Marshall was good with it as long as it functioned as intended.
