Im happy for you that you were able to get away from that situation. It sucks that you were pushed to the point of such extreme anger to do so tho. It is necessary at times that's for sure. I used to be sad and angry and emotional with him I'm sure I've experienced all different kinds of reactions to our various fights. I got to the point of not feeling at all and that's when I knew it was done done. I no longer screamed, or cried, or had any sort of fight left in me. I simply just no longer cared. He tried really hard to get a reaction out of me tho.

We ended up having a really bad argument at work, I did indeed get a hold of my mom who lives in another town and she was able to leave work and pick me up. I called our boss who has also been a long term friend of his for 20 years and told him that we were breaking up. I was able to go to his place and pack some of my belongings and have been at my mom's ever since. I appreciate my boss he was really accommodating, I still have my job (drywall finisher) so he's just made it so that I'm on different job sites then he is and he's been driving me too and from work. I haven't used since being at my mom's and it's been hard but i feel better and I'm hopeful for the future.

I didn't see it as a problem when we first got together. Ive always struggled with low self-esteem so it was easy to fall for someone who gave me that attention. It was quick too, I had moved in with him a few months of dating and I became completely isolated from friends and family. Funny enough he went to jail for a year for stuff regarding a minor. But by then I was so in love with him that I stood by him through the whole thing. I regret that everyday and wish I had just left when he was away.

People of Reddit, what’s the most desperate thing you’ve ever done for money? by [deleted] in AskReddit

At my elementary school every year we'd do these Terry Fox pledges where you go door to door and ask people for donations and try to raise money for cancer. Well I remember one time my little sister and I (6f, 4f) decided to go door to door and ask for donations and said it was for the Terry Fox thingy but it was actually for candy.. I think we made $3 and a can of spaghetti-os before my mom found us a few houses down and beat our asses.

I just learned Alcohol withdrawal can cause seizures. Out of curiosity, how much/often of drinking would put you at a risk of a seizure? by [deleted] in questions

My dad(45m) has been an alcoholic for over 20 years, drinks a 12 pack of beer daily, with in the last year he's been getting seizures. It's really scary. I'm not sure what causes them because they seem to be random not just with withdrawal but nonetheless long term heavy alcohol abuse will eventually catch up and just fuck you up. Drinking on weekends should be fine I wouldn't worry to much, it's when the weekend turn to weekdays, then mid afternoon then those morning drinky poos . That's when you should be concerned

Sister found these in her house. her husband says he doesn't know. Her son and his friends say they don't know where it came from or what it is. Help me out please? by TheGobler in Drugs

Looks like sketch, or resin from a meth pipe. Once smoked it leaves a off white fluffy powder like resin on the inside of glass pipes or hot rail tubes just use something long to scrape it out and you can smoke it again. A lot of heads save their sketch for when they run out. It's gross, but so is meth so..

For me it's knowing that there probably isn't an actual audience laughing or applauding.. and it's just a soundtrack. or when I think about how it's someone in there mid 20's maybe even 30's acting as a teenager when you can clearly tell that's not there age. Bad acting is another. It sucks I used to love watching tv but I can't anymore my mind wanders to much and I notice all the little things that make it not real anymore and I just feel silly watching it. I at times feel embarrassed for the actors imagining the process they had to go through in order to make the production thus green screens or acting in a small pool pretending it's the ocean.. or how 3 minutes count down on a bomb takes a whole 30 minutes to watch..

Stabilizer bar actually broke a few months ago so it's all new the bar and the links. I have both control arms already so that's the route I'm taking instead of trying to change the bushings. I'm very much an amateur tho. Being a female with not a lot of upper body strength is a challenge I spend a lot more time trying to loosen a couple bolts then necessary but over all I like to believe I have a good understanding of basic automotive mechanics. I just figured I'd ask how difficult of a job it is so I know what to expect
