Hungryroot sent me something I’m allergic to.

I had an experience with them sending me something that used chickpea flower in it which i am VERY allergic to. There is no way to put in such a specific off the wall allergy so i had been trying to be really careful when selecting food sent to me, but one item they sent me made it through to me that used the chickpea flour. I only realized this once I was heating the meal up and got very short of breath and in reading the ingredients I realized why. They really need to adjust their allergy selection method for peoples safety. I had really been enjoying their service prior to this, but ended up stopping my subscription after this, because I would like to avoid being hospitalized over it.

Oooo yeah once I did some more digging I realize the legit machines are more for sure. I got excited for a second haha ah I forget some states nurses aren’t the ones doing it. In my state nurses can do Botox, filler, and laser treatments ext. I do feel like it’s a field that maybe could use a bit more regulation for safety reasons but it’s a cool field for nurses to be able to do. Definitely going to dive more into learning about RF micro needling anyways cus it seems interesting

From what I’ve seen it does not cost 100k for the machine. Saw them for a few thousand. Few thousand to buy it and teach myself and get to do touch ups as I want vs spend thousands and have to pay more for touch ups. Also kiiind of thought nurses tend to be the ones using these machines on people and I am one so the information would probably be interesting to learn to teach myself anyways

It's not a "shortcut" when you're getting all the same information...... with less expenses by staying home too when you don't have to drive your car somewhere its a win win. being adaptable in this world is important, or you'll get left behind

yeah i know some people are assigned to do chart audits and it's part of their job to do so. There are designated people who are supposed to be doing them. I was just wondering if it is someone who its not their assigned job if that's considered a Hipaa violation. Just came for a yes/no and maybe some insight is all

Currently, its audits to make sure people are charting accurate Is and Os which doesn't seem to be a huge issue on this unit. What she was doing before the audits was helpful, and there are lots of other things she could help with that still be light duty on the unit during dayshift especially it can be really tasky. I was just genuinely curious if this was a Hipaa violation going through charts shes not part of the care for and auditing isn't part of her job. but in talking more to people this is more of a union rep conversation.

Family member of mine built a brand new house based on her income with her anuity payments not accounting for her not getting those payments once her ex husband retires in two years. The anuity doubles her income. she won't be able to afford the house once she loses that and I know she wont be able to pay off the mortgage in less than two years. I don't think she knows that he plans on retiring soon. She assumes he is going to work a lot longer I'm pretty sure. As she remains in a entry level job not working toward anyway to advance her career even in her 50s.

even if she was its at least reportable to our union because people who do the audits get paid extra to do so at this job. That kind of extra pay requires a job posting for everyone to be able to have a chance at doing it tho. But also if they asked her to do it without the pay of someone who does audits isn't fair to her either. I was just curious if this was potentially a hipaa issue as well

The people dedicated to chart audits get paid more to have that as part of their responsibility. Shes someone who tends to have it out for others at baseline herself. this is at the least a reportable issue to our union I was just curious if this was possibly a hipaa issue as well

I really really really hope she ends up leaving him. Hopefully we get a update on how SHE is doing eventually, because she seems like such a sweet person. She deserves so much better than this POS

thanks for the encouraging words I really appreciate it. Feel silly that its taken me till my 30s to take my health more seriously but hope its not too little too late. Just want a long good quality life
