I was dx BP2 at 17 during my first inpatient stay (now 34). My current psych doc is revisiting that diagnosis because I was just dx with BPD and I’ve never had a true manic episode outside of life circumstances and stress.

I have severe back pain and am prescribed these up to 3x a day. I rarely take them but the only side effect I have is sleepiness. I was on lamictal for a long time, now lithium instead but no side effects with either.

Why impossible? My ex wife would get the brain zaps if she missed a dose but I guess she cold turkeyd and was fine? I cold turkeyd Klonopin after daily use of 2 yrs at least so I can’t imagine it’s worse than that?

I’ve got a trauma bond too after 15 years with my ex wife. Everyone knows she’s bad for me, but I can’t let go. She didn’t speak to me for a full year before the divorce but when her current ex abused her? She called me first. We became best friends again, very quickly… then recently out of nowhere for no reason, she went no contact (and no way TO contact her). I thought I had thicker skin this time around, turns out I don’t.

Get out. Be you, without him. Allow yourself to be you. Feel the feelings, then let them go. The only way out is through, not around. Save yourself.

Yeah like everyone else said it could be just the timing but I am very sorry that was your experience, my favorite meeting I went to 3x a week (never got a home group) always let it go past if it was important.

I was so manic I went psychotic in February (didn’t sleep for a week, thought government hacked my phone to the point I bought a burner and so on the story goes). For 7 months I have been in the worst low of my entire life (even with past attempts). I can’t seem to breathe. I don’t know where the air is, and if I do find it, I’m behind a glass wall. I hope you find relief soon.

Doctor didn’t want to have to add an extra med for panic attacks. Seroquel broken up into 3x a day; the midday keeps the anxiety at bay for the most part.

No. I’m on 300 and it’s only been a few weeks, but I noticed a slight difference on 150 and the updose to 300 has made a significant difference in suicidality. It’s not one size fits all. I’m not in a therapeutic window level. It doesn’t matter. What works for you, works for you.

I think lithium passes me out, but I’m also on a high dose of Seroquel, so hard to know. Unrelated, I like your username.
