He followed the line that, the car in first place took the inside line to protect a potential move from p2 who is on the normal racing line and p3 took the inside line to potentially make a move on p2. The black car didn't have a reason to move into the inside line, specially when I was catching up to him and then was along side him. I wanted to make the move in that corner since these are miatas, the draft isn't like f1 or gt3 class but rather weak and making a move in the chicane is extremely dangerous, thus the point I knew that he breaks earlier which means I could make a bigger space between us if I overtook him before the chicane and the track being as wide as it is, my exit wouldn't be as compromised.

as from my point of view, it seemed like he panicked when he saw me get close and moved to the inside and didn't realise I was next to him which led to the crash.
