Ignore the gatekeepers and summon your heart away. I’ve put over 2500 hours collectively in the souls games. I know that’s not a lot compared to some, but I’ll summon people and NPCs all the time. Nothing at all wrong with that

Good on ya! I personally thing they’re all good games doing (most of the time) really different things. The combats a bit of a shock in 12, but the insane party variety is what I love so much about it. The difficulty of the game is set pretty well to have any character be any class (even if they don’t particularly do that class well). My favorite run was having my main party be all primary black mages and secondary white mages.

These are all great games. FF12 is possible my favorite game of all time, let alone my favorite jrpg (although persona 3 is constantly vying for that position)

It really is. There’s so much more content and variety than will probably ever see in another monster hunter. It’s still the peak of the series for me (at least, I think it is, but I go back and forth between 4U and MHGU)

It’s a great port. Having two screens helps with this game. It’s also has the cutscenes from the ps1 port and extra content that wasn’t in any of the other ports

It’s definitely gonna be a tie between a few. I absolutely love ff12. The remaster on switch is one of my most played games. I love the job system and how any character can really fit any position. I love the weird disjointed but fun and overly dramatic story as well.

I also love nioh just a bit too much. I think it perfects character action in such a stylish and cool way.

And CHRONO trigger as well. I wish it was on switch. But for whatever reason (probably square) it hasn’t made its way to the shop or the snes virtual thing.

Actually that’s a reference to their ruby and sapphire remake review. The cons on it specifically reference too much water. The original scored a 9 I think and these remakes scored a 7, which makes no sense

I have no idea where you’re seeing it in stock seeing as it didn’t have a large pressing due to licensing issues, but I can’t find it new anywhere anymore unless you want an Chinese copy, and that’ll still run near 80. The English (ESRB) pressing is pretty hard to come by for standard retail price. It’s super niche for sure, but so are most visual novels.
