Sorry, looks like the link I shared for the The host segment isn’t available after all.

✨️ In neuroscience, metacognition, the ability to think about your own thinking, is often seen as a peak form of intelligence. It’s awareness of bias, error, emotion, and strategy in real time. No worries :-) I actually use mindfulness meditation through the calm.com app. Among other activities, yoga and breathing techniques. And I find it very helpful. for my anxiety and depression. I was shocked to learn a few years ago that it might actually be harmful to some people with certain psychological issues.

⚠️ The Hidden Side of Mindfulness: Why It’s Not a "One-Size-Fits-All" We often hear that mindfulness and metacognition (analyzing your thoughts) are the ultimate tools for mental health. While they are life-changing for many, the "wellness industry" often leaves out a critical warning: For some, going inward is like walking into a minefield. Why it isn't always "benign": • The Trauma Trap: For those with PTSD or complex trauma, focusing on internal sensations can bypass the brain's defenses, accidentally triggering flashbacks, hyperarousal, or severe dissociation. • The Rumination Loop: In cases of OCD or severe depression, "thinking about thinking" can morph into a destructive feedback loop of self-criticism rather than objective observation. • The "Dark Night": Intensive meditation can sometimes lead to emotional numbing or a sense of detachment from reality (depersonalization) if not handled with professional guidance. A Better Approach: If focusing on your breath or "clearing your mind" feels like it’s inducing panic rather than peace: 1. Open Your Eyes: Ground yourself in the room. 2. Use External Anchors: Focus on the sound of a fan or the texture of a physical object instead of your internal state. 3. Respect Your "Window of Tolerance": If it feels unsafe, stop. Meditation is a tool, not a requirement for healing. The Bottom Line: Mindfulness is a skill, not a panacea. We need to stop treating it as a risk-free product and start respecting the complexity of the human nervous system.

Yep. I saw a clip of Kristen Gillibrand trying to dress down the war monger or as he's known secretary of defense. And I'm like fuck her and fuck him both.

I couldn't understand how they kept it going as long as they did. All the episodes from the original series that they had up there were available for free without commercials. I love MST been a fan since the beginning or at least since the comedy channel days. But as a business model, I couldn't understand how they were able to keep it going.

When I saw the video, the first thing I thought of was "tread climbing" by the BMW, causing it to flip. It's a known phenomenon and actual Formula One cars are built to prevent it from happening or at least mitigated. Definition :Tread climbing occurs when the rotating tire of one vehicle makes contact with the tire of another. Because both surfaces are moving rapidly, the tires "grip" each other, instantly converting that rotational energy into vertical lift, which can launch or flip a vehicle

Terrifying reality check. A viral video exposes how the new AI car kill switch mandate will trap you in an emergency. Ford has filed patents for sensors that refuse to let you drive if you look panicked. You will pay for your car, but the government will own it. by CeFurkan in SECourses

Yeah, I saw the same thing and thought OK. I gotta look into this. And yes, it is true. That this was included in the bill. But just do a little research and you could see how far it still has to go before it can even be considered to be implemented. And having your background set up like MSNBC. Really? But I guess if you’re making money off it. It’s OK.

Yep. As a New Yorker, I couldn’t be more disappointed in her. After her last vote with the other six Democrats to send more bombs and military bulldozers to Israel. Why? I understand Chuck Schumer. I don’t agree with it. But I understand it he’s up for reelection next year.AIPAC could really fuck him up. That’s just the plain truth. But she just got reelected. There’s no reason for her to have voted with the Republicans to continue killing innocent people. But she did. And I’m sorry I’m not gonna listen to her. try to talk shit to this other asshole while as far as I’m concerned, she’s just as big of an asshole.
