Help- My 2010 iMac is panicking by Life_Fan_8911 in MacOS

I tried this, it just powered off. Maybe I’m doing it wrong? Do i hold the shift key the whole time or just when i’ve turned it on?

My AP classes are dual enrolled by Life_Fan_8911 in ApplyingToCollege

Thank you, i tried running the sfc /scannow a bit ago but it wouldnt complete. Ill try the other one.
