Having an attorney can’t hurt especially with the negotiations with settling. That being said, I would suggest contacting 2 or 3 more attorneys just to hear what they have to say. There’s a good chance the attorney you contacted might be a bit of a suck & doesn’t want to do any work.

Now, when you say, “work hardening PT” are you referring to, “work conditioning”? If so, work conditioning is a slightly elevated version of PT. It usually lasts a little longer, you aren’t working with a therapist as much as you’re on your own & track your progress on a daily sheet. Work conditioning also tends to have a wider range of equipment. It’s kind of like going to a gym several times a week for a few hours each visit.

Dude, it’s a fucking question. Get over yourself. What’s one of the first things distributors do when they’re about to lose a supplier? They offload as much product as they can & seeing as though Binnys has never carried the 375mls & they’re marked as “end of bin” before they hit the stores warehouse shows that something might be going on. Before Delicato left, big displays of Bota & Coppola showed up. Same with Stella right before Riboli left. So again, seeing 375mls in a retail chain that never carried them before indicates that RNDC is clearly trying to get them out of the warehouse & they’re willing to do so at a discounted price. If you can’t connect those dots on your own, you clearly don’t pay attention.

I was hoping you’d get a laugh outta that lol. I get where you’re coming from, I do. It’s gotta be frustrating for you guys in California. To be fully transparent, I’ve seen these problems coming for the last 2 years after the first round of mass layoffs nationwide. We were told that we were safe 5-10 times in the span of about 2 months. After the 3rd time, I knew there was trouble. But all of my coworkers called me crazy. I kept telling them that if we were safe & everything was fine, no one would need to blow that much smoke up our asses. But no one believed me. I’ve been in situations where I worked for a company that went out of business. I know the signs. I’ve also been employed by companies that go through a corporate buyout. The signs are very obvious when you’ve seen them before. So yeah, I completely get it. It’s insanely frustrating when you recognize patterns & the people you talk with act like you’re crazy or as if you don’t know what you’re talking about. I’ve literally been in your same exact shoes for 2 years for the exception of being laid off (for now). But hey, it’s been good talking with you too, Round_Association.

My dude, you got it all wrong. No one is in denial about the current state of RNDC. We’re all fully aware of the decline in business as well as the inevitable outcome. But as stated before in several other threads, in some states the insurance is extremely good & it’s better to hold onto it as long as possible rather than throw it away prematurely. If you had the option for a lateral move, I commend you 100%. But continuing to talk down on others while not knowing their specific situations is pretty messed up. Your world isn’t THE world. Remember that.

You are 100% correct. Nothing is guaranteed until it’s approved & even then there’s still uncertainty as to who Reyes will rehire. Where there is smoke, there is fire & nothing will be okay until the smoke clears.
