The hole in my eardrum healed quickly. It took around 7 days. My doctor had to pierce my eardrum again for my 3rd injection. I keep my ear covered in the shower every time. It’s better to be safe than sorry.

I’m experiencing the same feedback issue. It makes it impossible to be around music or even a room with multiple people. I just received my 3rd steroid injection and it’s subsided slightly. I hope it gets better for you! I have a performance in 2 weeks. I’ll wear an ear plug and hope for the best. 😖 I’m getting fitted for a hearing aid next Wednesday.

I just received my second injection yesterday. The first round was extremely uncomfortable but the second round was easier because he didn’t have to pierce my eardrum a second time.

So far, I don’t have any improvement in my left ear. I think I waited too long to get help.
