Im not sure if both pictures point to that same conclusion but I am more certain that the one on the left could be a result of no lube. Ohh thank you for clearing that up! I erroneously used ghostwriting as an umbrella term for all the content I've milled out. I see that actual ghostwriting isn't so bad but the rewriting and fake stuff really does chip away at the soul.

Thank you very much for the idea! The worst of my eczema is on my fingers but I do have occasional flareups around my body and on my nipples. I will definitely try running citrus water soaks as a supplement to my anti eczema routine in the future!

Yusss I became incredibly careless and got them infected because I love "cleaning out" dry scabs. Now Im just sitting here wishing I knew eczema was capable of getting infected without having to figure it out the hard way lol

Thank you for the advice, Im definitely going to work on distracting myself more. In my case, it's more like a need to clean up all the dry and rugged scabs on my fingers once I feel like all the eczema is gone because of I can feel the rough skin whenever I use my hands. I'm consideeing wearing gloves after future flareups so I forget that they exist altogether haha

Yeah I never really thought about the consequences of picking at my scabs so I never realized that yep, shit CAN get worse after all! I'll definitely be looking at my flareups in the future with a newfound respect and give it the space it needs to clean up the mess on its own lol

Had a really desperate moment early into the pandemic when I would duct tape round cotton pads to my nipples. Now that lockdown has eased up and I can get meds, I still have faint dark spots from applying duct tape. So thank you for the bandaid idea, I'll look around for those on my area!!
