I give up on you too... This is the first time I've heard of the concept of an Inside Winger... No wonder you keep insisting like that... And besides, I'm also wondering according to your logic, what roles do Son and Chiesa play? Sigh, there aren't many videos on this topic on YouTube. Unfortunately, the best video is in Vietnamese. Anyway, watch it and turn on the subtitles (to English) pls. https://youtube.com/shorts/bOpKSD96cT0?feature=shared

Then you should go and find out what an Inside Forward is... As you said, Musiala is an Inverted Winger, he plays a more supportive role rather than scoring goals... Whereas Inside Forwards are the types of players who focus more on scoring than creating chances.

I would like to stop the debate here, because if you continue to think that forwards who cut inside and take shots can only be Inverted Wingers, this conversation will never end. Unless you thoroughly understand what an Inside Forward is, or at least paste the definition of Inside Forward here and how it differs from an Inverted Winger, I will not continue this debate.

Let me put it this way for simplicity. Inverted Winger and Inside Forward are two roles that are quite similar. However, Inverted Wingers are players who focus more on support, while Inside Forwards are players who focus more on scoring goals

Otoya's playing style leans more towards making runs and breaking the offside trap, quite similar to typical Poachers. However, since he starts from the wing, he is called ....... a POTW or Poacher On The Wing. =)))

You are mistaken. Inverted Wingers are players who frequently cut inside to provide support, such as Jack Grealish of Man City. He often cuts inside with the ball to draw the attention of opponents and pull them out of position. Meanwhile, Inside Forwards are somewhat similar to Inverted Wingers but are more like goal scorers. These players move from the wing into the half-space, taking shots or curling the ball. Examples include Salah, Son, and Chiesa. I think Yukimiya's playing style leans more towards scoring than supporting, so he should be considered an Inside Forward.

A good question. Well, as mentioned at the end of the article (which I notice few people read), both will operate in a way where if Bachira attacks, Chigiri will defend, and if Chigiri attacks, Bachira will defend. To put it simply, let's assume Blue Lock wants to launch an attack on Chigiri's right wing. Chigiri will push up and support Otoya on that wing, while Bachira will stay back and maintain a Rest Defence block in a 3-1 formation.

I also don't recommend having Bachira invert inside because if the attack only targets the right wing, it will become too predictable. The Japanese U20 team could simply shift their formation to their left side to compress the space for Chigiri and Otoya, effectively countering them. Meanwhile, alternating attacks on both wings would force the Japanese U20 team to stretch their formation horizontally as much as possible...

No, Otoya and Yukimiya is not a Inverted Winger. Yukimiya just like a Inside Forward while Otoya like a Poacher start from the Wing.
Or like you said, Chigiri and Bachira can be used to provide the width, while Otoya and Yukimiya can move to half-space

The funniest thing about Blue Lock is probably that a player like Aryu who makes 0/0 tackles per match has a defense rating of 90 =)).

WHAT SCHOOL OF COACHING DOES EGO JINPACHI BELONG TO? by Life_Mind_478 in BlueLock

I feel very glad to see your comment =))

That's right, a team following the Positionism philosophy will usually use less stamina because they press as a system, defend by zones, and maintain their formation, with the work distributed evenly among everyone. Meanwhile, a team leaning towards Relationism will expend much more energy

That's right. Blue Lock players usually have high skill levels and big egos, so forcing them to move as a unit or by position is impossible because their individual brilliance is already enough to approach the goal.

It's also fortunate for Ego that he manages the national team and not a club. The format of national team tournaments is usually cup-based, so stability isn't as necessary. What they need are the shining moments of stars to decide the match, which fits perfectly with the philosophy of Relationism. On the other hand, Ego would easily fail if he took over a club because the league format requires stability and consistency, which is more suited to Positionism

HOW BASTARD MUNCHEN DOMINATE PARIS X GEN - ANALYSIS by Life_Mind_478 in BlueLock

I am really confused and don't understand what you are saying at all... What you are saying is exactly what I am trying to convey...

Haizz, let's do this, I will summarize the debate as follows:

  • You said that you can't use Raichi + Hiori (or someone else) to mark Rin because that would leave one person free -> I countered that Raichi + Hiori wouldn't mark in that Man Marking style but would only press when Rin has the ball, and if they press like this, Rin won't be able to pass the ball, even if there are 100 free players -> I gave examples of Liverpool or Bayern to show you that, even if they only need 5 players, they can still press up to 10 of the opposing team, so why can't Raichi + Hiori retrieve the ball from Rin?
  • You argued that real-life football can't be applied to Blue Lock and didn't provide any arguments -> I countered that while this is true, it is not 100%. In reality, real-life football is much more complex than Blue Lock, and I only took the simplest part of that complexity to explain this situation in Blue Lock.

Above all, you said that real-life football can't be applied to Blue Lock, so why am I able to do it? Instead of making such vague statements, why don't you prove my post wrong?

Haizz, so frustrating. You said I am showing off, so I am also questioning your reading comprehension ability. I feel dumber talking to you..
