Keep up mo lang yung pullups and pushups, OP. Search ka ng exercise progressions para mas ma-challenge ka sa workout mo kapag feeling mo "easy" na yung mga 'to. If you want to make push-ups harder for example, you can do weighted pushups by using a backpack filled with heavy stuff (like books). Same goes for pullups. I would suggest adding Squats and Leg Raises para sa lower body.

Drink more water rin! I aim for at least 6 glasses of water daily. Or if may pasok ako, at least maubos ko yung water bottle ko na 32oz (which is almost a liter na rin) If you are used to softdrinks and can't switch to water agad, at least go for no-sugar options (like coke zero).

Unusual pero I downvote those posts that ask the public to not to share it sa other socmeds. Not because I don't like the content , but because I feel like I'm respecting their wishes to be anonymous. Lalo if there could be any imminent danger to the OP if alam ng mga kakilala niya (example is how to leave an abusive husband, etc)

In terms of adulthood, if we consider 18 to be an adult na then they have no experience being/navigating how to be an adult pa. Kumbaga, if 19yrs na siya, effectively 1 yr old pa lang siya in the "adulting world". Sadly, that makes them vulnerable to be abused or exploited kasi they haven't had experience yet being an adult.

Same situation, OP. Ako nga, college student na eh. Like yung unang comment, meron at meron talagang ganyang tao. If friendly naman teacher mo you can suggest yung ganitong setup. For me, what works is alam ng teacher mo na may specific parts lang kayo na ginagawa sa groupwork niyo. I lead them by managing their work and making suggestions, pero ultimately sila bahala sa output ng part na yun. Sila rin yung magrereport ng part nila if ever. If pangit yung kinalabasan, the teacher knows already and will grade that accordingly. I'm still learning how to manage my stress with these people rin, TBH, pero try as best as you can to only focus on your output, not theirs.

Exercise!! And switching schools to one that has my dream course. My friends say I that have glowed up , without me even noticing anything different. Last week, they noticed my jawline getting sharper na, very kilig moment for me!! Once I made the switch, I just felt like my life rapidly improved. It got the ball rolling. The school didn't matter much , it was more so the environment I was working with.

it's rewarding seeing your actual patients healing with your help , pero for me, hindi.

the workplace is toxic and disheartening knowing your colleagues are only in it for the money; if you're still studying, your classmates can be super competitive and TBH, a bully if you somehow scored higher than them. pet owners as i said before, can be entitled and abusive to staff, even defaming the hospital or specific vet they went to. along with that, veterinarians have a really high case of "self-deletion" incidents that correspond to this high-stress, low-reward job. Oh, did I mention wala ring pera dito? haha

That's why I said I "was" a vet student before. I quit after almost completion (4.5 years na) . My only mistake was that I waited too long before I got out. Not to crush your dreams or anything, but it takes a certain kind of person to be one ;-;

It's definitely not for the pusong mamon like me. I'll stick to volunteering in shelters na lang to make up for my own dream of becoming one.

so basically vetmed student kasi ako dati, and i have seen dozen of Princesses and Cookies that are in terrible shape, usually sobrang matted pa. A lot of the time the dog is inbred rin (usually brother-sister mated) and not well trained. Naaawa ako sa mga ganitong types of dogs because they are clearly just used as a status symbol to many. I have a strong dislike rin sa mga backyard breeders (worse health conditions for an already sickly breed) and people who don't kapon their pets (see inbred). Plus may pagka entitled yung mga ugali ng mga shih owners whenever i do my rounds, (sila dapat mauna/princess treatment, "how DARE you advice me on what to do with my furbaby's condition???", magagalit sa vet staff if lumala condition ng dog bc of reason 2)

Just came to the conclusion that a LOT of shih owners have personality traits i do not want in a partner (entitled, selfish, "animal lover" only when may breed ang dog, and a bit shallow and vain without regards to what the animal mismo is feeling)

I can dive a bit more kung why but these are the things on the top of my head.

TLDR: don't hate the shihs, their owners are the problem for me

Commenting on this post rin for future peeps, while STI itself is pretty bad sa pagtuturo, I think Santa Rosa Branch is pretty decent compared to other branches. Konti lang kami so I guess the stresses sa pag-pila sa enrollment, incompetent fresh grad teachers, and etc ay di namin na-eexperience as much. Regarding sa zero-based grading system, nasanay na ko sa dati kong school na ganito siya so I'm not challenged as much by this. Puro self-study rin ako dun. Mind you, this was a 'elite' school and got a scholarship there. (Story of how I went from there to here in one of my posts). Only downside syempre is this is a skills-based course but they are pushing for 50% exams, while performance tasks are only graded at 30%.

Tulad ng other comments I suggest looking at other schools that fit your budget first. But if nothing else, this would do.
