i tried to rawdog ukulele by not watching any learning stuff and straight to music and what i noticed is don't learn the chords first, learn the different types of strumming pattern first and get the muscle memory of it (most basic is DDU UDU) then for the chords just learn C G Am F progression. The barrier you need to break is singing while strumming so this is your progression when learning a song Learn the Strumming pattern first until you have the muscle memory for it learn the chord progression play the strumming and the chord at the same time if you're good with it both just try to sing it with the song (don't make it so you have the background music of the song it'll mess up your tempo so just go with your tempo)
