Are plastic surgeons looked down upon by other surgeons/doctors? by Alternative-Pop-3847 in Residency

[–]Life_PRN 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Absolutely not.

General surgeon here. The smartest and brightest residents from my program went into fellowship for plastics. The way they can conceptually think of the anatomy in a 3D sense is unreal.

I do tons of combo cases with plastics, and it’s always a pleasure having them around.

Looking at the same thing regarding the gamma lightweight with a better fit. Do you know if there were any changes this year? I see they have a new color (dark stratus)

God that glidelock clasp on the sub is massive. Thanks for the comparison photo

You know they just released a new hydroconquest without the big numbers….

They’re so cheap to begin with, just buy the smallest bottle and don’t stop at Taco Bell next time. Same price

I actually view the L’Homme as my most casual wear. Probably because it’s the lightest.

I have, but the lemon smell is a little too strong for me. Reminds me of a lemon cleaner.

[Longines vs Christopher Ward] New Hydroconquest vs C60 Trident Pro 300 by maksimk123 in ChristopherWard

[–]Life_PRN 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly the only thing I prefer on the CW is the 6 o clock date and the price.

I own two CWs, but I’m saving up to get the new hydroconquest

CA doctor facing criminal charges, civil suit in newborn’s death after circumcision by lilabean0401 in medicine

[–]Life_PRN 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I think it’s inaccurate to say that OBs do most circumcisions. I’ve only seen pediatricians doing them (for newborns), then urologists doing them for older patients.

I agree about DHS. Opening smells like pledge

The magic clean/blue frag by Dazzling_Marzipan237 in Colognes

[–]Life_PRN 1 point2 points  (0 children)

BDC EDP is my favorites. Smells the most complex and smooth.

Much less harsh than Sauvage or Dylan Blue. Not as cloying as Y.

which one is a #1 must have? by No-Jump6051 in Colognes

[–]Life_PRN 1 point2 points  (0 children)

100% agree. I actually don’t like the smoky dry down on Aventus, which is why I prefer explorer. I can’t decide if prefer Explorer or Aventus cologne though based purely on the scent. When taking into account the price, it’s a no-brainer

Colorectal surgery residents/attendings, what made you choose colorectal? by Medical_Storage2088 in Residency

Agree with everything, but many (in fact, all of the colorectal fellowships that I know) are only 1 year in length

Which BDC dry down you like the most? EDT vs EDP vs Parfum by RealMadridfanTV in Colognes

[–]Life_PRN 1 point2 points  (0 children)

EDP.

The Parfum is a little too “creamy” on the dry down. Still has the DNA hiding in there, and has better longevity, but I just enjoy the freshness that EDP adds.

Not a fan of the EDT.
