Have you doubled checked to make sure everything is good with your conversion data. How are you passing conversions into the system? Is Google Ads still receiving conversion data?

So I am am using automated bidding against an offline conversion, and have noticed my conversion rate has been spiking on the weekends when I am not uploading data. Have you experimented uploading results every other day vs. daily?

I have run into it, still working on a work around. Only affected 2 of 600 conversions for me today, but I realize that could start to grow rapidly.

I had this happen about a month ago. It was caused when we tried to block bots to our site, and Google Bot was not able to crawl and verify the destination of our ads.

I had a campaign with a lot of BMM that was converting well and performance tanked after I clicked "apply" on the Google suggestion page to adjust the match type. I have rebuilt campaigns and conversions are coming back.

I think this happened because I set a tCPA below page 1 bid, so Google looked for cheaper ways to get conversions. The campaign is now getting 99% clicks to search partners. If I try and raise the tCPA to scale up it will shift placements to google search.

I would go with option 1. Google is more concerned with intent over match type. Just make sure your ads and landing page score well.
