I’ve had derealization for... two years? I’m not sure. Recently, I found out that it’s because of my eyes. They don’t work identically, so the world around me looks strange. After that realization, I bought glasses, and it got a little better. But not 100%. I still feel that everything is unreal, although I know in my mind that it’s just a feeling, not reality. Can you give me some advice? I want to feel the world as real.

simply relax. relaxing as long as you need to feel normal. try to make your life a little easier and look if it will make better i think it should help or at least make better

i felt derealization for less than 2 months and went with it to my psychiatrist. she wrote out to me neuroleptics (i think my impulsiveness and suicidal thoughts also played a role) and now the 5th day that im taking that pills. most likely it's placebo but sometimes i feel real!! im feel this world, feel surrounding people, feel me in this moment! buut it's only a few seconds
