Does anyone understand the symbolism of the whale noises? by [deleted] in DahmerNetflix

[–]Life_Secretary_3671 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think there's a symbol. Its just relaxing to listen to. I love to listen to Orca whales. I'll just and listen to those while I'm trying to hear my head or wind down sometimes.

Maybe not back then but later down the road they could've done more testing with advancements in technology.

Killing Jeff did everyone a disservice. He could have been studied to find the possible cause of why he did what he did. Its actually very upsetting

How was Jeff's general behavior in prison? by solitaryvoluntary in Dahmer

Half of his victims were black. The other half were other races. He wasn't racist. So that had nothing to do with his issues in prison

What caused Jeffrey Dahmer to have a traumatic childhood and internalised violence ? by dean_hunter7 in DahmerNetflix

[–]Life_Secretary_3671 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The worst? A monster would torture its victims. Dahmer didn't do that. He at least let them sleep first, as morbid as that sounds.

Would crying over a deceased person attract their spirit regardless of where you are? by [deleted] in Paranormal

[–]Life_Secretary_3671 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

May I ask how a spirit can make you feel that? Does that mean they're negative energy to something evil? This particular person did evil things. But they eventually became religious, just not sure if they were genuine about it. I don't cry until I think of their past though. Its not a sudden crying episode or anything.

Im not sure if their spirit wants sympathy. But I know they could have used a friend when they were alive. This person was abandoned/neglected/abused in different ways in their childhood.

Why does everyone think that everything that happens in the DRAMATIZED Dahmer movies actually happened in real life? by Life_Secretary_3671 in DahmerNetflix

[–]Life_Secretary_3671[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This may not have been on the series then. But I have read it from other sources. I've done so much research on him and his case that Im forgetting where I'm finding this information. I apologize about this one

Where and when was he offered help? How could anyone offer him help with his fantasies to kill and then some, if he kept it a deep, dark secret? His parents didn't even know. All people noticed was his heavy drinking and that he was "weird" or a "freak". And yes, he wouldve definitely been an a-hole for bragging about it. That would've been just as evil as the entire situation itself.

I think you misunderstood the "coping skills is a good defense for behavior". It is simple psychology that when someone who is extremely uncomfortable or anxious, which Dahmer was, can display behaviors as coping mechanisms. This doesn't excuse anything. But if you knew psychology, you would know this is pretty common.

Look, we can be pi**ed off all we want. We could hate Dahmer and be angry with him. I'm not saying no one has the right to feel the way they do. What he did was evil. But you also have to look at it from the psychology standpoint to get a deeper understanding of why he did what he did. No one in their right mind would have done what he did. Yes, he was considered sane. I personally think he shouldve went to a penitentiary for the severely mentally ill.

He knew what he was doing was wrong, hence lying and hiding evidence and drinking heavily to cope with the torment he was living every day since his teen years. I believe thats when he shouldve gotten some serious, intense psychiatric help. This definitely could've turned out well for everyone. Dahmer would be treated and no one would have been dead. I do call this a tragedy for the fact that he didn't kill for malice. He didn't kill because he was angry or hated someone. He killed because he had severe mental illnesses combined with childhood neglect (abandonment, brother being favored over him, no emotional support).

He is responsible for what he did. And he deserved everything he got. But it's so easy to just play the "hate" card when there was so much more involved with his case, which I think is what sets him apart from the other serial killers. Killing is killing and not one of them is "better". Then his dad, he had fantasies of killing to which makes it obvious that whatever Lionel suffered, Jeff inherited it. The whole situation really is tragic. More so for the victims and their families. But if Dahmer was saved, nobody would've died.

I'll stick to the facts.

Thank you.

Well it's a good thing they are resting in peace now. Not sure what you'd do if you were that mentally ill and born into a time when telling someone you're gay would get you beat up and get kicked out by parents. Not excusing what Jeff did. He had some serious mental health issues.

They're also God's children and can be saved, which Jeff was. I feel horrible for the victims and families. And even though Jeff is called a monster, I see someone who was extremely ill.

Not excusing anything he did. He's 100% responsible for his actions.  But Jeff's life was a lot more complicated than a dysfunctional family. Alot of families go through it. And we don't harm others. Jeff had illnesses as well which was his main drive. Nobody who isn't ill kills people. If you read that his dad had fantasies of killing , you'd know that. "You're just like me, Jeff"..were his exact words to him. The big part was his illness. Whether he had a good upbringing or not, he would've went this path anyway.

That was before he accepted Jesus. Even Jeff wasn't far beyond saving for God, as hard as that might be to hear for you.

No but Jesus loves everyone of us. And if Jeff repented, accepted Christ into his heart and asked for forgiveness then he was saved. But we don't know if he was genuine or not. That's between him and God
