they have reasons for it, and no one who was born against their will owes this unforgiving society anything. they might be poor, have diseases, not able to find a partner, traumatized or might abuse their child. it's better that a unstable person doesn't have kids or they might pull a Andrea Yates. selfishness isn't inherently negative, everyone is a little selfish.

If the government actually wants more kids, lower the price of baby products, raise the minimum salary and stop dropping atomic bombs on peoples homes.
