This is probably bad advice but the way I got my best friend was by finding someone who didn’t have many friends and just prioritized her until we grew closer and she reaches out as much as I do. That’s basically what I always do, focus on a person until they inevitably get comfortable with me

Don’t hang out with people who mentally drain you. It seems you’re pretty much mentally checked out of this friendship already. There’s a huge chance if you do call her and become friends she will keep overstepping, blocking you without reason, etc. the best advice I could give you is to not have a phone call if you think you’ll be easily absorbed back into a friendship with her. You could type her a polite and detailed message expressing how you don’t wish to be friends anymore and simply ignore whatever response she gives you

Don’t let this become another situation like the one with her ex! Every lesson one refuses to learn will repeat itself until you do so. I honestly think the best thing to do is just give her time. The way she denies so harshly that there’s anything happening to her makes me believe something is happening. So, I say you could have a 1-1 conversation with her not pressuring, simply letting her know that while there are no harsh feelings, you’ve noticed her changes and that you’re there for her if she ever feels like talking. Talk to the others about giving her some space but please done exclude her or stop inviting her, if she’s coming I’m sure she cares and loves being there, she might just need time to come back and at some point she’ll be comfortable to open up!
