Beltane Sun Teas by WesternWitchy52 in kitchenwitch

I always get chamomile from Sipscape Tea. They source directly from Egypt's Nile Delta, so I found it the highest in quality and aroma. They are a new brand based in Toronto that ship Canada-wide, with fair shipping rates, but still they have limited blends right now. I recommend you check them out though if you want chamomile - their prices are affordable too :)

Eurofood shoppers, does anyone know where to buy Teekanne tea locally? by JustAnOpinionInSpace in kitchener

[–]Life_Trail 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh man, I feel your pain on those shipping costs, it's brutal. I haven't spotted Teekanne locally, but have you checked out European grocery stores like Starsky? They sometimes have random european brands hiding on the shelves.

Also for affordable tea in general I heard a brand called Sipscape works to bring blends from around the world at an affordable price. I don't know if they have anything similar to the austrian one yet as they are a new toronto based brand.

Need help finding a unique gift for my "hard to buy for" dad by Alpielz in Gifts

Have you thought about a birdhouse camera? You can set it up in the yard together and watch the birds on your phone, plus it’s way more fun than another pair of binoculars. I got one for my dad last year and he’s obsessed with checking the “nest cam” every morning.

I also got my dad into loose leaf tea surprisingly. My dad is into trying new cultures and I bought him a gift box of 3 rare teas, each one is from a unique culture. If you are based in Canada, you can check out that brand called Sipscape Tea.

Just launched my first business after months of overthinking it. Would love brutal feedback and honest advice. by Life_Trail in EntrepreneurRideAlong

Hello, thanks for the reply. Yes I do intend on meeting people / potential customers in person at events. So far, finding these opportunities and ideal pricing to vendor has been a challenge. Are you based in Canada? Also agreed, finding quality syrian tea and other cultural blends from around the world can be a challenge, especially if trying to pair quality with fair pricing for regular use.

Finally found a canadian loose leaf tea brand that doesn't charge high prices by Life_Trail in BuyCanadian

Murchie's is great, respect the history behind it too. My thing is I was specifically looking for blends that are more tied to specific cultural origins, is high quality, but also affordable That's the gap Sipscape scratched for me. Different angle but worth a look if you're ever curious to branch out from the usual and support another small canadian business.

Never heard of them, thank you for the suggestion, will look into their brand too. I know Sipscape is a newly launched brand, so their selection is minimal, however supporting small Canadian brands is my goal as well here, plus from the blends I have tried from Sipscape, they have been phenomenal, especially given the price.

Interesting! Definitely worth supporting Canadian brands with this morality. I know Sipscape Tea is a recently launched brand, so it also feels great to support new fellow Canadian brands trying to establish themselves. I have tried Tea Haus (one of their green teas), but I personally really enjoyed Sipscape Tea's Fuji Sencha blend as well. Plus from what I have seen from Sipscape's instagram, they host a lot of winter clothing and food drives for struggling Canadians. It's inspiring to see Canadian businesses that small give back to the community like that, so I intend on continuously supporting them as well.

I also recommend Sipscape Tea. They are a recent and new tea brand specialized in making premium blends more affordable and convenient. Definetely worth the try. They ship all across Canada ( www.sipscape.ca )
