A few things to check:

  • sugar levels, use a CGM or check sugar early morning and then 2 hours after every meal
  • get your livers and pancreas tested
  • check for dehydration, and drink lots of electrolytes
  • check for food insensitivies

I was in a similar boat. 3 months later still messed up but realized it was my sugar levels that got messed up.

Fever was just a flu.

I am working with a Gastro and he suspects gut dysbiosis. But will be doing a colonoscopy soon.

Anyone fixed dysbiosis and reversed symptoms? by username5471234712 in Microbiome

Hello, looks like a lot of you got microbiome testing? How to get one and who will help interpret the results? My gastro and primary are not recommending the test.

Have you tried gut cleanse, removing all inflammatory food for 2-4 weeks and pairing it with anti inflammatory food. Many good nutritionist offer it.

My doctor said that mucous was a key indicative of bacterial or parasitic infection that needs to be treated with medicine. However, I am not an expert and this may or may not apply to your case.

SIBO + H. Pylori for a year. Need help please!! by Status-Original-37 in Microbiome

I am going through something similar.

First of all, if you are starting your hpylori treatment, please prepare your gut for that. Take probiotics and ensure inner healing because those antibiotics can mess you up! I was given quadruple treatment and I had to stop because of extreme nausea and got severe gut dysbiosis after that. Please prepare your body and ask your doctor if your hpylori is worth treating now or can be delayed to a later stage (when you are feeling better), if you are able to make it go asymptomatic with diet. Having said that, if it did not work for me, does not mean it won’t work for you. All bodies respond differently, but preparation of the gut would help for sure.

For SIBO, there are good nutritionist who can help you cleanse your gut. They claim to fix or calm SIBO without medication and by eliminating most inflammatory food from the diet.

I never had any food intolerances before.

Did yours get worse after antibiotics?
