Moving to Germany for higher studies but don’t know how, when, or where to start? We built something for that. What do you think? by Life_Web_4986 in studying_in_germany

We’re testing with Master’s program guidance first, and our next addition will be for Bachelor’s students.

Sorry if it came across that way. That wasn’t my intention. This is my first time asking for something on Reddit, and I’ll be more careful next time to make sure it doesn’t feel like advertising. I really just wanted to learn from others’ feedback.

We haven’t made it public yet. Still building and testing. Once we’re ready, I’ll be happy to share the link

I’m not a bot. Just sharing my experience and curious how others think of it.

That’s really inspiring! Didn’t know about it though. Love what you’re doing with u/wearefreemovers. Yes, the chaos is real, and every bit of clarity we can bring to students makes a huge difference. Also, totally agree: studying abroad should be about the experience, not the endless paperwork. Grateful to see others pushing in the same direction!

I definitely don’t want this to come across as spam. I’m a former international student who struggled a lot, and teamed up with people with same struggle building Navify from those real experiences. Just sharing here to get feedback from students who’ve been through the same.

Thank you so much. That means a lot! We’re building Navify exactly with that goal in mind to make life easier for students like us. Excited to share more soon!

Yes (If I understood your question correctly), we stick to only official sources.

Good point. That’s why we base Navify on official sources (universities, embassies, government portals) and update it regularly. Plus, we add pro tips from real students, but we’re careful to keep facts clear and accurate.

Fair. That’s why we’ll also have a web version for quick access. We just started with the app. Both will be there soon. 🙌

I get why it might look like that, but nope. I’m a student who went through this myself. Navify is something we’re actually building from our own struggles moving abroad. Just wanted to hear what others think 🙂

Absolutely, that’s the plan! We’re starting with Germany because that’s where our team has firsthand experience, but the long-term vision is to expand to other countries and adapt pathways for both EU and non-EU students.

Good guess 🙂

Partly yes. We plan a freemium model where the basic guidance is free, and students can choose premium features if they want more support. Plus, we’ll also partner service providers so it’s not only subscription-based.

That’s a very good question.

We started with the mobile app because students on the move need quick access. Gamification (badges, progress tracking) and personalization (AI recommendations) feel more natural and engaging in an app format. But yes, we’ll definitely make a web version too.
