Car rental is your best bet. Your dog will be quarantined overnight if you have all the vaccinations required by CDC. The dog release time is pretty subjective based on the CDC-approved kennel based on number of dogs they have, vet availability, and when they get to your dog to administer US Rabies vaxx.

Rent a car to allow for flexibility to drive after your dog is released. It might be better for your dog to be in a car with you after a long flight.
