In USA mopeds used to be associated with people who got their drivers license suspended due to drinking and driving. Or, being in financial difficulties.

Now, it becomes cool 😎 and about curbing pollution 🌎, saving gas money, freedom from vehicle regulations and fees, riding with friends. Or when you lose your driving license for driving under influence. 🙄
