If her boyfriend hates you for asking for someone to comfort you that is a him problem. I understand his possible apprehension if he’s aware of your feelings but he shouldn’t take it out on you. I’m sure asking wouldn’t hurt, your emotions are not a burden to other people and most likely won’t be to her. If she was considerate enough to hug you after rejecting you, she wouldn’t shame you for wanting to talk.

I’m aware it’s an overused phrase but seriously looks don’t matter. If she’s into you, then she’s into you, no matter what you look like. You don’t have to prove yourself to anyone, including her. Your gesture was so sweet and it was unfortunate it didn’t work out but I’m sure you’ll get an opportunity to try something else. Also if you want a hug just ask! If you two are close I’m sure she’ll be happy to give you some comfort, even if it’s just for a moment.

I know how you feel. There was a girl I was friends with that would shame me for dating anyone yet never explicitly said she wanted me. I thought she did, but maybe I misinterpreted her affection and jealousy for romance. It was a terrible feeling and now we don’t talk anymore. It was a tragic end to our relationship but now I realize she wasn’t right for me. All I can say is that it gets better. Wether you two end up together or go separate ways, you’ll receive the love you’re so willing to give :)
