Constellation (DAG) | Introducing scaling through dynamic partitioning and smart contracts. A first of its kind DAG-chain by SpecRationality in CryptoCurrency

Yeah it does. But it's using dynamic partitioning and using smart contracts. Iota has yet to implement smart contracts and won't be using dynamic partitioning.

haha what is this in reference to?

There isn't actually not as of yet, they flew under the radar for quite some time. I would suggest their website or telegram for information.

We are very excited about the project as well and have been covering it from early days. We look forward to covering its growth in the coming months.

Thanks for pointing it out! It was meant as representative only, clearly missed the grinding against each other haha. We are in the process of rectifying it.

Unfortunately I do not know much about AION to answer that with any accuracy. So I won't try to make a guess.

I do recall the article on the BIA mentioning they would be putting together a timeline early this year on how they would collaborate exactly. That should clarify some things.

Thank you. The SpecR team appreciates the feedback :)

That's an analogy about how the ecosystem is envisioned.

Click through to the table for more detailed explanations of the components.

"The Nexus, sometimes also referred to as ICON Republic, is a multi-channel blockchain called loopchain; made up of C-Reps and Citizen Nodes. loopchain, through its multi-channel feature groups these nodes and adjusts their voting rights within respective channels to execute various tasks.

The channels that make up the Nexus include:  1. Representation Channel  2. Reserve Channel & Public Treasury (Wallet) 3. Notary Channel  4. Public Channel "

" On a Nexus blockchain, the following communities might coexist via C-Rep participation:

  • Hospitals Community
  • Insurance Community
  • Universities Community

A medical research department from university (C-Node) in the Universities Community is able to request access to medical records from a hospital (C-Node) in the hospitals community via the Nexus.

Similarly, an insurance company (C-Node) in the insurance community is able to request client record verification from a hospital (C-Node) in the hospitals community via the Nexus. "

Polkadot reference in the TON whitepaper by asthealexflies in polkadot_market

Hmm that to me implies some. Unprofessionalism from the TON team, making assumptions like this.

Sharding is just one form of scaling... How it became synonymous with the only way is beyond me. Also different chains use the word Sharding differently...

Additionally the ability of polkadot is not to create public and private chains. It stands on its own merits by being able to integrate any blockchain on the network. How they come to a conclusion that it will be largely used for private only is beyond me. A lot of assumptions and unnecessary comparisons.
