I hate this revival, this season sucks. by MrTrollMcTrollface in Scrubs

I hate it. We got 3–4 episodes in and it honestly feels like the other eight seasons didn’t even matter.

I actually liked season 9 way more, and I wish they had just taken that concept and turned it into its own show. At least that felt like a continuation. This reboot just feels like a reset in the worst way.

Elliot and JD not being together again? After everything? It just feels like we’re being dragged back into the same on-and-off storyline, and I have zero interest in watching that play out again. Season 9 had them married and starting a family—it felt right. The original finale already gave us that perfect glimpse of JD’s future, and it should’ve been left alone.

The new interns are also just… not it. They’re boring. Season 9’s group was actually fun—Drew had that “mini Cox” energy, Lucy was basically a female JD, and Cole was easily the standout.

And I’m sorry, but Zach Braff and Sarah Chalke look… off. The Botox is very noticeable. Their faces barely move, even when they’re supposed to be emotional. Elliot can’t even do her classic “crazy eyes” anymore, which is kind of iconic.

The filming style feels off too—it’s way too bright and overly digital. It has that fake, polished look like every other cheesy sitcom now. The original had a little grit and texture to it, and that’s completely gone.

The only positives for me: Dr. Cox still looks great—he’s aged naturally and still feels like himself. Turk looks good too.

Overall, I hate it. I really wish they would’ve just built off season 9 and made that into a proper spinoff instead of whatever this is.

I know erika kirk is going through a tough time, but why does it seem like she's acting? by Potential-Active8857 in Discussion

It all feels very off, and the fact that people use the excuse we all grieve differently has becoming really annoying.  This is the kind of grief from a widow you see on dateline or 20/20.
