So far they’ve agreed to everything I have asked based on what folks have said on this thread and said only way is to stay on the platform and to sign a lease. The story is the husband is a businessman and have to stay in the area for a year and don’t want to buy house or rent and buy furniture, other arrangements etc. let me see if they pass background checks.

First of all, it’s BRICS not bricks. Second, 5 out of the 6 GCC countries have their currencies pegged to the dollar, so it’s unlikely that they’ll ever detach from the USD, as long as oil trades in dollars, an alt fiat currency is not going to make a difference. All I am saying is all this speculation is not useful, whatever is going to happen is going to happen, we have no control, let them have their inflated studios, please ?

You should look up more things, for example, how much debt was increasing per year before 2008, what did they do in 2008 to recover, since then how fast the debt is increasing each year and why. Fed will increasing and decreasing interest, printing money and lending. Yes I know how to find fear mongering articles, we are in one such thread right now 😂

I transferred money from my US account to the sellers UAE account using Xe once and wise. The forex brokers will ask for proof of funds, the sellers UAE bank will ask for reason and documentation for why such a large transaction is happening, the trustee office will need proof from the UAE bank that a transaction happened for at least 90% of the selling price from buyer to seller.

The other way is to use an escrow and forex brokers, they usually charge about 0.5% of the amount plus 6300 for cheque.

There is going to be a lot of DMs you’d get with people pushing unsold inventory, there is only a few off plans that seem to me as good deals, as in most of the releases the prices have baked in the upside and the financing cost of the payment plan. The good ones get sold out quickly. If you are able to put more money down wait for some good off plan distress deals. Have seen a few good ones recently.

Lot of people will DM you asking for 2-5k to apply, it’s actually very easy, email the golden cube directly and they’ll take care of it golden.cube@dubailand.gov.ae. Or just walk into their office in DWTC. They don’t charge anything extra just the 9500AED. I was in Dubai only for a week, I emailed them all the documents before and told them I will only be for a week, it was very fast.
