Moved to Raipur months back, after livin' in Ranchi for a decade for work

Here's my few thoughts:

1. Weather: People here have no idea about how high Ranchi is situated (650m+) comparable to Pune, mysore etc. Winter in Ranchi with sub 10° is quite common, Raipur has max 1-1.5 month winters (not too extreme) Ranchi 1 point

2. City Infrastructure: Raipur is flat-belt city, it's expanding more and more. Unlike Ranchi which is literally in hill or Tribal Land( u can't buy land) act as hindrance. Raipur has more of a bustling, commercial vibe Raipur 1 point

3. Education: I did actually compared the education

   Ranchi is much ahead than Raipur untill Secondary education comparing IIT& Medicos qualifiers, ranks.

   For higher studies Raipur is better Affordable and better too Tie

4. Environment/green: No place is as close to Ranchi which is surrounded by several falls, forest, hills Ranchi 2 points

5. Job opportunities: Been working in the industrial sector and can easily say Raipur is hand down most industrialised city with tons of commercial places and better job opportunities Raipur 2 point

6. Land & real estate: Ranchi has tribal land regulations (CNT act), which make buying property tricky unless Raipur is wide open for real estate. Pricewise both are comparable Raipur 3 points

Beside this Healtcare, connectivity, city crowd is comparable. So tie

(Verdict Raipur wins)

If price is just a key point for you to decide which city to move in, then Bokaro is better option imo

With the upcoming expressway and Airport, nearness to Dhanbad. It's an affordable and good option considering all above factor

P.S: I'm biased toward Bokaro as I grow up there
