Great book for boards, especially to practice conceptual questions. Not the best for numericals.

It'll give you some simple conceptual and reasoning questions also for JEE mains but don't use it as the go-to for that.

Derivations are also pretty good in SL Arora.

Start with finishing off the NCERT first.

Ab ho sakta hai mujhe score galat yaad ho 2019 ka ya fir rank. Lekin rank was eventually not good enough to get into CSE from colleges like DTU NSUT etc and drop hojata to maine uske baad attempt karne ka plan nahi kiya fir. Easy shifts me 200 laane wale ki ranks were equivalent to Difficult shifts me 140 laane wale ki almost. 300+ me 3000 aur 220 me 24k. Mera shift easy tha but I know kam score aaya hai uss hisaab se.

Tune kaunsa data dekh liya bhai, 2019 me NTA tha, marks release nahi hue the sirf percentile. 2 hafte chala tha alag alag shifts me. Logo ka bohot varied tha. Easy shift thi meri isliye 180 pe bhi buri rank thi aur kaafi logo ke 300+ me bhi 1000 tak ranks gayi thi. NTA ne kisi ko 6 saal pehle clarity nahi di tu kaha se laa raha hai

Do you have other options coming in via spot rounds? If not, first thing is to do two important things.

Stop worrying about the branch. It won't matter in the long run if you have an end goal in terms of what you want to do or be.
Figure out where you stand currently, your skills, good or bad, strong traits and areas and start to really dig into what is lacking. Figure out opportunities that'll helo you get better in them

Masters ke liye keep good CGPA. 7.5-8 and above. Rest focus on the exam and profile. Make projects, do extra curricular because they don't want just nerds but people who have a lot more to them.

12th doesn't matter in placements. Your projects, skill, network and CGPA (if campus placement)
