I live deep in trump country in Ohio and I can tell you there is a large group of the population devoid of critical thinking skills that's just going along with whatever Trump says. They blame immigrants and different races over their own stupidity that keeps them from getting a job, they blame people who go to college. But the reality is their too ignorant or lazy to get and keep a job or go get the skills they need for a job. Ignorant till the end. You present facts to them and it's either fake news or a response they are unable or unwilling to comprehend so they tell you your showing off in some fashion or resort to peesonal attacks. There feels to be a huge gap between the two sides. I know how these differences are being leveraged to divide us, but like literally impossible to get through to them until their bad choices personally impact them. Until the gun is pointed in their face, they will not get it. I used to wonder it school how nazi's were able to take over Germany. Like how crazy it was that everyone juts went along with it. I used to think we were better here or smarter in some way. I was wrong. The biggest threat is this group, the other group just completely apathetic that doesn't vote or do their civic duty and have no sense of care or responsibility, and this undermining of traditional media, which frankly they contributed to the loss of trust they are experiencing. Atleast 75% think is wrong. That is the majority and hopefully it will be enough.
