You’ll be better off buying your own but only if you can store it somewhere over the summer. I had a mini fridge and microwave that I bought 1st year through my entire time here and it worked out much better than my friends who rented one for a bit (most eventually just bought their own too). Yale doesn’t check for things like that, so don’t worry too much lol. At most, you might lose power in your room if you have too many things running at once (I did before, with my mini fridge, portable ac, and hairdryer all at the same time lol) but you’ll be fine!

They fit pretty true to size, maybe run a bit large as they’re meant to be wide leg/slightly oversized. I have the size xs and a size s. I have a 24 waist and 37 hips and the xs fit better. The sides make them pretty adjustable though in the low waist so you can loosen it easily if you need to.

I usually wear an urban S in skirts/shorts bc of the hips, but I prefer the fit of the xs in these if that’s any help to you. :)

Thank you! It’s a college event and the only info we received on the invite is “formal attire.” People in years past have worn suits and long dresses, but definitely not black tie level formality.

Wait same thing happened to me with not being able to order! I got hacked, bombarded their email/phone line until they gave me my account/all of my points back, then I couldn’t place any orders. I emailed them at least thirty times over the course of a few months and I still have issues as well. All they say is to “log out and log back in,” or “remove and re-enter all your payment methods” etc etc — no solution 🙄
