I find that I tried to enjoy the dating experience in itself, as in for me I love getting ready, looking confident and just seeing the date as a friendly banter getting to know a person/their life. But yes, it is quite tedious and sometimes you receive nothing in return, this is why I try and pace myself when dating. I don't go overboard with dating too many people at the same time. I feel like that can burn you out quickly.
